Trying to be healthy sucks........

when everyone around you has the stomach flu. I CANNOT get sick! I am too busy! Well, what are you going to do? I wish I could go all ninja on those little virus's ass! I know I am next in line, I have been fighting it for a few days now. Chris comes home on Friday and I hope he doesn't come home sick again. I miss him and would like to see him out of bed, well, you know what I mean. The good news is I am officially down 20lbs since Nov. 1st. I have been working my ass off (literally) and it is finally showing. Spending over $300 a month on a trainer and gym membership is actually paying off. Now I just need to get back into Derby shape! Oh, and I hope you don't die a horrible death by a lotiony tissue Whore!

I'm not dead

Just really busy. Between taking care of the fam, running a business, working out every chance I get, and carting Mom around to all her appointments, I just don't have time for anything. I don't even get to log on to the computer much. I spend every morning at the gym, which in hindsight is actually a good thing. I keep shrinking and I need new clothes. Anyway, Whore and I decided it was finally time to go back to Derby, and let me tell you, I have missed it SO MUCH! There is nothing like the feeling of wheeling around at top speed (which for me is about half as fast as everyone else) around the rink. I was a bit worried I had lost all my skating mojo since it has been over a year and a half since I was last on skates. But, besides a tiny blister on my toe due to new skates I felt fabulous! I was able to still do all the falling drills and still had all my other skills necessary to do contact. I should be reassessed soon and will forever be known as Red Red Kroovy, number Durango 95! As for crochet, I have been on a baby kick lately. A few people I know are having babies so I thought I would try my hand at making baby stuff. I actually like it. They are small and easy to finish. I have actually made 2 baby sweaters and have never finished and adult one! Now if I can just finish that blanket!
